IAU's alumni are located worldwide and IAU continues to expand its online program and international partnerships.

2009 March: IAU received its approval by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to accept and enroll foreign, non-immigrant F-1 students for academic degrees.

2008: January: IAU relocated its administrative office from Los Angeles to Palmdale, CA. IAU establishes CAS Academy, a department under the School of Business and Technology.

2006 September: MIA legally changed its name to the International American University (IAU).

2006 July: MIA sought CA State approval in 2006.

2005 August: Management Institute of America, Inc. is incorporated in the State of California as a private proprietary corporation, duly formed and organized under the laws and regulations of the Secretary of State for the State of California.
